Jerrianne Bland
is the spirituality coordinator for Benedictine Women of Madison. Jerrianne completed a certificate program in spiritual guidance at the Center for Spiritual Direction in Orange, California. She also coordinates membership efforts and guides women discerning a call to join the ecumenical monastic community. She practices spiritual ecumenism through belonging to her Lutheran faith community and the Oblate community at Holy Wisdom Monastery.

Joanne Kollasch, OSB, serves as retreat leader and spiritual guide having completed a year’s program for this work at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership, Loyola University, Chicago. For more than 50 years, Joanne has helped guide the vision, mission and ministries of her community at Holy Wisdom Monastery. She co-created Community of Benedict, Benedictine Women of Madison and the Oblate community at Holy Wisdom Monastery.

Charles Pfeifer, PhD, has training and experience with the Guild for Psychological Studies and Jungian dream work. Chuck has led seminars on dreams and the Life of Jesus, and he co-facilitates retreats at Holy Wisdom Monastery.

Lynne Smith, OSB, is an ordained Presbyterian minister who served congregations in Kansas and Iowa for 16 years before joining Benedictine Women of Madison. She has degrees in Christian education and theology. Lynne serves as director of membership, in addition to leading retreats.

Ken Smits, Capuchin, serves as pastoral minister at Holy Wisdom Monastery. He earned degrees in theology and liturgy, with additional training in spiritual guidance, directed retreats and addictions counseling. Ken is a part-time hospital chaplain and a spirituality counselor in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program.
