Enrich your mind and spirit—visit the monastery library!

May 2009

May is one of my favorite months! Spring flowers are in bloom. Warmer weather has arrived. The evenings are longer, which means there’s more time to enjoy the outdoors. There are graduations to attend, Mother’s Day to celebrate, and Memorial weekend to savor as our summer kick-off.

May also brings many activities to the monastery as well, including Community Workday. This event is a fun and fulfilling experience for volunteers of all ages and physical abilities who’d like to help the sisters with their environmental restoration projects.  Attendees will have a chance to tour the new monastery building and hear about its many “green” features.
