Download a brief article introducing centering prayer

We practice Centering Prayer as a silent group meditation. It begins with a reading from the psalms and lasts about 25 minutes. Centering Prayer takes place in the monastery oratory. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer within the contemplative tradition of Christian religion. It occurs mornings and evenings on most days here. Visitors often join the sisters for this prayer time.
