Volunteer at Community Workday on Saturday October 2, 2010

Each year, hundreds of volunteers are needed to help preserve the natural environment at Holy Wisdom Monastery. We have many types of volunteer opportunities. Whether you come to a volunteer event, volunteer alone on a regular schedule or bring a group to help in some way, we appreciate your gifts of time and talent.

Depending on the season and the amount of time you are interested in sharing, you might:

• pick apples
• harvest vegetables
• prune brushes
• maintain nature trails
• remove invasive species

There are also community workdays offered in the spring and in the fall as an opportunity to come together with others at Holy Wisdom Monastery and enjoy the community spirit while tending to the earth.
